Coming up from Westchester this morning I saw 3 graphics-related things that I thought might be worth posting
First, I saw two trucks – a UPS truck ahead of a FedEx truck. I was behind the fedex, thinking about the arrow hidden in their logo:
and then I passed both trucks. but THEN, in my rearview mirror, I saw the FedEx dart into the left lane and pass the UPS, coolly returning to the right lane, ahead of the UPS. Who is delivering shit faster? Now we know. I don’t know if the FedEx driver knew what he was doing, but it was advertising.
Then I saw two Wegmans trucks, one with the old logo, and one with the new
I like the old one better
And THEN I saw a Pepsi truck, but not yet updated to their new logo!
And I felt a real connection with that 90′s style old Pepsi logo. Remember it? I hate the new one.
