Stop motion is attractive. Even though I’m not in love with the song, the video makes up for its lack of aural appeal with an intriguing visual. At the points when the viewer feels they understand the pattern of the video and may lose interest, the designer introduces a new visual element that draws the viewer back in and makes them wonder what ‘trick’ the designer will play next. It’s also simple yet elegant, making it easy to focus on. The way this video uses stop motion and visual surprises inspires me.
