I appreciate Todd Hido’s consistent style as he photographs the interiors of foreclosed homes (like in the photo below) and motels. Additionally, his landscapes — which are bleak and realistic — don’t call attention to any particular geographic region; they could have been created in almost any American small town.
Check out this example of a not-for-profit Web site that works to fight poverty and AIDS/HIV in Africa. Hopefully, this can help generate ideas for your Web sites-I know it gave me some good ideas about color schemes and what links to possibly include!

Barton Smith, a very insightful designer, revamped the Facebook user interface to make it awesome and cleaner. After looking at his redesign, it almost makes me sad that real Facebook doesn’t look like this.
I thought this was a cool image of a poster…since we were talking about a few fashion related posters today in class I thought it was an appropriate post.. it was also cool to see all the logos at the bottom..it works well
