Well this is just perfect. Everyone loves pizza right? So what’s so bizarre about an advertisement for Tabasco sauce that makes the pepperonis come alive in the form of human heads who sing of the joy of being spiced up? A lot in my opinion. This is by far an example of how not to try and market your product and how creativity taken too far can turn on you for the worse. But if you’re into weird humor click on the image below and feast your eyes on this treat.
Well it seems as though one of the most iconic clothing brands of American fashion has taken a leap of faith and changed their long standing logo. It is the Gap of course and their new logo has a 21st century kind of vibe to it. I really think this is a solid example of how a logo change when needed can improve brand’s image.
I have to say that the old logo was plain and simple. It fit really well on a shopping bag as well and it’s easy to see how it has endured for over 30 years. It does scream retro however and the new logo screams we are a company of the future and you should shop with us personally I prefer the new one, but tell me what you think.
Which is your favorite? To be honest the new one reminds me of a women’s perfume company of channel or something or other. I kind of like the iconic high rise logo on the left. That’s just me though. Does the upside down wording really read well? What do you think? Does the New logo capture comedy in any way whatsoever?
Wow. This is awesome. Doritos has really made something special here producing a 360 degree online commercial.

I stumbled upon this website and thought it was really cool. It has all types of lists with different inspiring images or ideas. It’s good to look at whenever you are stuck and can’t think of new ideas.
I stumbled upon this guy (literally) and he stuff is pretty amazing. The website is awesome, his logos are nice and simple, and his illustrations are something else. Definitely inspiring! okaydave.com

Some of these effects are really cool, even if you’re just fooling around in Photoshop. My favorites are the sunglasses reflection and the age progression effect. These are the types of effects that just look really cool, even if you would not usually use them in a professional project. I think it’s still worth appreciating though.
Music is a huge inspiration for me. I love listening to it, whenever I’m feeling stressed, down, up, excited, or really any feeling. It can convey so many emotions that an image just can’t. Harmonies and melodies just hit me so much harder than images, and that’s just one reason I love turning to music. If you’re a fan of indie or acoustic music, I highly recommend this youtube channel, watchlistentell. It has really great live performances, and I’ve found some amazing bands just by checking it out. It seems to be based in London, which for me is where all great music has been coming from recently. Enjoy!
I found this blog where there are 15 videos of dialogue from movies displayed as motion typography. It is really cool. The typography along with the colors and movements match perfectly with the dialogue. Every one of them is interesting to watch. As a film lover I found this to be a really cool way to link typography with film and movement. It just seems like an awesome concept, and it comes out looking really great and enjoyable to watch.
