The shape of the wave is so great. It does show a “vivid” “way”. The tutorial in that webpage specifically shows the designer’s work, really helpful. I like the font too, especially the dot of the “i”. Maybe the font can be more literal to combine with the wave better.

I just randomly found this logo. The company is named “Zagora”. It’s a little hard to read, and even now I still wonder how the first letter looks like a “z”. But anyway, the logo is quite hug-able. I like the shape and the colors. Warm, light, and cute. The logo makes fell the company youthful and vigorous as well. Good impression.
BTW, the URL link is the tutorial about how to make this logo in illustrator. Hope can help.
Rationale of the Poster

Here it is. Seemingly there’s not so many changes compared with the original one. But actually there are. I tried many versions, and each of them has big difference compared with others. But I still choose this one as my final cause it’s simple, clean and elegant.
The poster is inspired by one of my dream. In the dream, I became a butterfly but never enjoyed flying because humans could always find me wherever I went or landed. . After I woke up, I couldn’t stop myself thinking about this dream. Why people could easily notice me, a tiny butterfly? Is that because of my color? But I couldn’t tell what color I was in the dream. How sad would a butterfly be if it belongs to no color! Or is that because I was the only creature that could fly in the dream? Then how lonely would a butterfly be if it doesn’t have a company on the earth! With all these feelings, a “butterfly protection” poster came out of my mind.
I got the butterfly image online which was original colorful and tiny. I traced it in PS and cut it in half to become this one. To make the text and graphics combining as a whole, I pixelate the title and put a small butterfly on the top of letter “I”. Another font I use is French Script MT cause the streak of that font is so smooth somehow like the shape of butterfly. I color the word “colors” to show a contrast of the colorful and ugly dead black.

The poster is quite simple but elegant. Piano keyboard. obviously related to music. Black and white. Symmetric. People will hardly pay attention to the black buttom part, but without it the graphics will loses balance. The contradictory of the backgroud’s white color and the fonds’ black color make the text eye-catching. The style of the fond keeps elegance.
I didn’t feel comfortable with the circles on the poster casue it made me dizzy. But after noticing the sentence “the hardest thing to face…is yourself”, I suddenly realized why the designer used the circles instead of a picture of real moon. It shows mystery and endlessness. When staring at the circles, I feel like absorbed in a hole or the innermost being of one’s heart. There’s just one small astronaut standing in the center of the circles, head lowered and eye closed. Lonely. Helpless. Musing. Black background is to illustrate the endless outer space.
Combine with words and colors to make a big fancy picture. If the words can have a meaning relating to the theme—DJ music, that would be better.
It’s a poster, but can be a good inspiration for a funky resume. Keep the structure of the layout. Put the Word Mark in the middle. Every section can be a different experience description. Change the colors; it’s really ugly right now. If I have time, I may try it. At least, it’s readable.
I know every one has watched this video in class. But since the movie is so impressive that I can’t get it out of my head these days, I decide to post it here.
I’m a fan of landscape photography and it’s not a new discovery that people can show emotions by means of trees, sky, roads, and etc. However, it’s the first time I see a video that’s only made up of scereny, some most usual scereny that people can find everywhere, but is not a documentary about animal or environment. There’s no people showing in the film. There’s not much plot involved. It’s day and night. It’s trees and grass growing. Peaceful. Eyeable. But it actually talks about a cruel human affair—war.
