Here’s the redo! I fixed the font in the clouds and under the title so it is more legible. I also made the mountain a more earth-toned hue but kept the brightness of the orange in the brown. It looks kind of wonky as a jpeg, sorry.

Here is a link to a website all about COLORS on illustrator. It really helped me in trying to understand how to use the “swatches” in illlustrator.

These are a couple images relating to the non-profit Comic Relief’s fundraiser called Red Nose Day. The visual image of the red nose can be put into many different contexts, which is maybe why Comic Relief has been so successful in their fundraising and in increasing awareness. Check it OUT !

Talk about an OUT there resume. We talked about the graph/pie chart style resume in class today and about how it would apply to certain jobs but would possibly be a risk out of context. I think this is very funny, maybe if he was applying for a job on SNL or something else it would be PERFECT. I wonder if a hopeful investment banker would do well with this one.

Here is a video created by a group of students at the Vancouver Film School. As print was used in the American Revolution by Thomas Paine and others to spread the word of freedom from opression, Blogs are being used by the youth of Iran. The visual images are enticing, provocative and modern, just like the idea of Blogging. Pretty cool :)
