Check out this website, it reminds me of the great lakes water website Prof. Harper showed us in class. It’s a really great cause and the website it awesome. It definitely calls it’s viewers to action.

I designed this website for the grassroots non-for-profit Project Chacocente in Masaya, Nicaragua. This project was SO difficult. I spent so much time on it. I revised the version I showed in class today by lining it up with the grid, changing the colors, and adding more to it. I tried to use earthy tones to represent the way that the project looks and to complement the photographs. I tried to keep a playful tone to the website for a sort of hopeful feel. I kept the logo even though it was a little poor quality because I want to show you and the people I’m going to show at Chacocente what it would actually look like if I wear to set up a design for their website (with a better quality logo).
Here is the link to the ben and jerry’s website, it is a reallllly cool website that utilizes a theme while keeping it clean and sensible. Check it out!

A very classic national geographic cover, I love the way they use prominent and bold images with very simple text. It lets the images speak for the magazine. COOL
This website has the “Most Controversial Magazine Covers of all Time”. I thought this magazine cover from November 26th of 1965 on the War in Vietnam was especially powerful because of the influence it had on the American Public’s perception of the War.
