For my poster project I decided my non-profit event is going to be on recycling. I found this and I thought it was really cool how they used recyclable items to make the flag. Very similar to the Death Cab poster we saw in class earlier.
Extremely simple. Extremely effective.

I thought this was a really cool way to combine type and and watercolor. The cool colors and the kerning of the letters and words to make them seem like they are blowing in the wind is very calming and poetic. Something you wouldn’t think plain type could accomplish.
I really like the look of this resumé I found on Delicious. It still looks professional but the color adds a personal touch to make the resumé stand out to employers.
Well first off I am always inspired by well dressed people, especially well dressed couples. I believe people can express themselves with fashion just as much as art or music. This picture came from The Sartorialist, a very cool picture blog of things he finds interesting or beautiful.
