I found this website when I was looking around online to find help with InDesign:
http://www.creativepro.com/article/indesign-how-to-six-small-things-six-big-results
It’s just 6 tips about the program that can be really helpful. Some of the tips are for shortcuts, while others are for actual tools, like kerning for example. I liked this site because it put things as simply as possible, almost to the point of condescension, which is kind of what I need when it comes to graphics. There were also pictures of the tool bars with various things highlighted so that readers could know exactly what each tip was referring to. Of all the tutorials and guides I’ve seen, this was the most helpful one that I’ve stumbled upon.
